SUPERMODEL GREEN SMOOTHIE

So yes this is another green smoothie but its different to my last green smoothie post. It's funny how recipes change over time without you realising, now I use almond milk whereas before the idea of putting something creamy like milk in a smoothie sounded disgusting to me. This smoothie has 200% of your vitamin A which is good for your skin and immune system. This smoothie is especially good if you are vegan as vitamin A is commonly found in dairy produce. I've included half a teaspoon of spirulina as it has a strong taste you might want to use quarter of a teaspoon when you first make a smoothie to adjust.

INGREDIENTS

1 banana
A large handful of spinach
Half a cup of almond milk
2-3 ice cubes
3 tsp of oats
1tsp of chia seeds
1tsp of wheatgrass powder
1/2 tsp of spirulina

METHOD

1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Drink immediately as the oats and chia seeds will absorb causing it to thicken.
